Crispy tortillas layered with seasoned beef, refried beans, sauce, and melty cheese — this homemade Taco Bell Mexican Pizza delivers bold Tex-Mex flavor in every bite.
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
½ cup water or tomato sauce
1 cup refried beans
8 small flour tortillas (6–8 inch)
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
½ cup enchilada sauce
¼ cup taco sauce or mild salsa
1 tbsp oil (for brushing tortillas)
Optional: diced tomatoes, black olives, green onions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush tortillas with oil and bake 4–5 minutes per side until crisp.
Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain, add seasoning and water, and simmer.
Warm refried beans until smooth and spreadable.
For each pizza: Spread beans on one tortilla, add beef, then top with a second tortilla.
Mix enchilada sauce and taco sauce. Spoon over top tortilla, then sprinkle with cheese.
Bake pizzas 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
Top with fresh tomatoes, olives, or green onions. Slice and serve warm.
For vegetarian, use beans and cheese only.
Customize with jalapeños, sour cream, or avocado.
For extra crispiness, pan-fry tortillas instead of baking.
