For the Chicken
1 lb chicken thighs or breasts, cut into chunks
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup flour
Salt and pepper
Oil for frying
Honey Garlic Sauce
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
Creamy Pasta
8 oz rotini pasta
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Salt, pepper, Italian seasoning to taste
Bread chicken with egg and flour mixture.
Fry in batches until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
Make sauce: simmer honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar. Add slurry and cook until thickened.
Toss chicken in sauce just before serving.
Cook rotini. In another pan, melt butter, sauté garlic, add cream and cheese. Season.
Combine pasta with sauce.
Plate pasta, top with chicken, and garnish.
Add chili flakes for spice.
Bake or air-fry chicken for lighter version.
