Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a one-pot dinner featuring tender chicken and pasta simmered in a rich garlic cream sauce, ready in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast, cubed
8 ounces penne or rotini pasta
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in large pot over medium heat.

  • Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • Add remaining butter and sauté garlic briefly.

  • Pour in broth and cream, stirring to combine.

  • Add pasta and Italian seasoning. Bring to gentle boil, then simmer 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Return chicken to pot and stir in Parmesan until melted.

  • Adjust seasoning and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Keep heat moderate to prevent cream from separating. Add a splash of broth if sauce thickens too much. Best served immediately.
