Tender Cajun-seasoned steak tips meet creamy rigatoni pasta in a cheesy Parmesan sauce for a bold and comforting meal perfect for any occasion.
1½ lbs sirloin steak tips, cut into bite-size pieces
2 tsp Cajun seasoning
12 oz rigatoni pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter (divided)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Cook rigatoni in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Sear steak in hot skillet with olive oil and 1 tbsp butter, 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
In same pan, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
Add cream and bring to simmer. Stir in Parmesan and cheddar until smooth.
Toss in rigatoni and cook for 1–2 minutes to combine.
Add steak tips and juices back to the pan. Stir gently.
Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
Adjust Cajun seasoning for desired heat level. Use fresh cheese for best melting results.
