Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)

  • 1½ cups cooked shredded chicken

  • ¼ cup + ⅓ cup BBQ sauce, divided

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion

  • Optional: ¼ cup smoked Gouda or cheddar

  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 475–500°F with pizza stone or sheet inside.

  • Toss chicken with ¼ cup BBQ sauce. Set aside.

  • Roll dough into a 12-inch circle. Place on parchment paper.

  • Spread ⅓ cup BBQ sauce over dough, leaving a border.

  • Add cheese, BBQ chicken, and red onions.

  • Transfer to oven and bake 10–13 minutes until golden and bubbly.

  • Remove, garnish with cilantro, and serve.

Notes

Customize with bacon, jalapeños, or pineapple. For gluten-free, use a certified crust. Reheat leftovers in a skillet for crispness.
